Hoboken Ace Takes Most Valuable Pitcher

Jesus Vargas was overpowering this season for the Hoboken Falcons and earned the 2065 East Most Valuable Pitcher for his efforts.

In a standout year he went 14-6 in 27 starts with 211 strikeouts in 169 innings and a 2.93 ERA.

He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Tony Alvarez of the Mobile Hammers finished second in voting, while Andy Blomgren of the Mobile Hammers finished third.
