Vaughan Wins CLE Player of the Week Trophy Monday, August 25th , 2070 Ellis Vaughan swung a blistering bat last week for San Luis Obispo, rapping out 10 hits in 24 at-bats against Saints opponents to propel himself to the East Player of the Week Award. Whenever the shortstop hit the ball, he hit it with authority. The 21-year-old racked up a .417 batting average with 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored.
