Year Ends for Alain Capelle in Grand Junction Thursday, August 29th , 2047 The Grand Junction Lumberjacks were dealt a blow today when starting pitcher Alain Capelle left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Capelle has suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. This year Capelle has a 5-5 mark in 5 starts with a 3.95 ERA. He has given up 52 hits in 66 innings, struck out 85 and issued 34 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .214 batting average against him. |
