Lynx Dunn Sizzles with Cycle Saturday, July 8th , 2051 Ken Dunn did just about everything for the Ottawa Lynx -- except win the game. The first baseman had a cycle wasted in his club's loss to the Hilton Head Islanders. Despite Dunn going 4-for-5 with 2 runs batted in and 2 runs scored, the Lynx were defeated, 16-6. "The guys feel like they let Ken down," Ottawa manager said later. "He did all anyone could ask and we couldn't hold up our end of the bargain." Ken Dunn hit an RBI triple in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Bob Jones in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and singled in the 9th. This season Dunn is batting .269 with 83 hits and 16 home runs. He has scored 43 times and has 67 RBI. View Boxscore |
