CLE Names Hammers Swift Winner Monday, July 31st , 2051 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the East, but last week Wally Swift of the Mobile Hammers reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Swift rocked opposing pitching for a .375 average (9-for-24), 2 home runs and 11 RBIs to come away with the award. Posting a .313 batting average to date, Swift has 23 home runs and 73 RBIs. |
