Season Ends for Josh Hopkins of Grand Junction
Friday, September 1st , 2051
When Josh Hopkins was hurt against the Spokane Indians, the Grand Junction Lumberjacks were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 24-year-old reliever suffered a sore shoulder throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Hopkins would miss 4-5 months of the season.

For the season Hopkins has made 18 relief appearances, recorded 2 saves and compiled a 2-1 won-lost mark and a 4.26 ERA. In pitching 31.2 innings, he has totaled 35 strikeouts and 14 walks.
