Lett Crushes 3 Homers Against Sierra Vista Southeast HS Friday, April 6th , 2063 Richard Lett was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 8-4 Nashville HS Predators triumph at Nashville HS Fields today. The 13-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Predators past the Sierra Vista Southeast HS Cedars. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Lett told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The right fielder went 3-for-4, rung up 5 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Richard Lett struck out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Butch Martindale in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Butch Martindale in the 4th and hit a two-run home run off Jose Conrad in the 6th. To date, Lett has collected 23 hits for a .442 average. He has posted 6 home runs, scored 13 runs and driven in 15 runs. |
