Falcons Come up Short of Playoffs Thursday, April 26th , 2063 Members of the Ft. Worth HS Falcons are left wondering what could have been today, as the team has been eliminated from postseason contention. "You look back at a handful of games that easily could have gone the other way for us," said closer Dave Moon. "We really think we were good enough to get to the playoffs this year, so it stings." This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2061. In total, the Falcons have missed the playoffs 35 times in their 39-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Falcons have only made the playoffs once. Ft. Worth HS last won the High School Cup in 2043. |
