Anteaters Advance to High School LCS Friday, May 4th , 2063 The Austin HS Anteaters didn't hold back their excitement after beating the San Francisco HS Sea Lions in the High School Wildcard Series tonight. Members of the team rushed onto the field and celebrated joyously when the victory became official, with a 3-0 win moving the club on to the High School LCS, clinching a 3-1 series win in front of the Austin HS Fields crowd. "This isn't the big one, but of course we need to get through this before we can win a High School Cup, so it's an important step," said Andy Aronson as he took a break from celebrating. "Our guys are happy and excited to be moving on." Aronson was named series MVP, as he hit .476 with a .476 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 0 RBI and scored 4 runs. On the other side of the diamond, there was desolation. Many members of the Sea Lions sat stone-faced in their dugouts, simply watching Austin HS celebrate. The Austin HS Anteaters don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Sacramento HS Rivercats - Quebec City HS Nordiques series.
