Nordiques Heading to High School LCS Sunday, May 6th , 2063 In a series that had a little bit of everything, the Quebec City HS Nordiques have edged the Sacramento HS Rivercats. The two rival clubs went the distance in the tightly-contested High School Wildcard Series, with a 4-3 win in the clincher being the difference for Quebec City HS and giving them the ticket to the High School LCS with a 3-2 series triumph. "We never stopped believing in ourselves. When push came to shove we were going to get it done," said Rafael Laguna, who was named series MVP. For the series, Laguna hit .500 with a .550 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Quebec City HS Nordiques will play against the Austin HS Anteaters in the next round. Austin HS won their series against the San Francisco HS Sea Lions 3 games to 1.
