Anteaters Move on to High School Cup Friday, May 18th , 2063 The High School LCS went the distance before it all was said and done. The Austin HS Anteaters and the Quebec City HS Nordiques went at it tooth-and-nail and when it was over at Quebec City HS Grounds, the winner was the Anteaters. They put away Quebec City HS 5-2 to cinch the series and won the right to move onto the High School Cup. For his fine play, even in a losing effort, Quebec City HS third baseman Brennan Crawhorn was given the series Most Valuable Player Award. He hit .560, scored 7 runs and batted in 6 to win the honor. "It's nice that someone noticed my numbers, but I'd trade it in a heartbeat for a win," he said. The Austin HS Anteaters will play against the Kansas City HS Buzzers in the next round. Kansas City HS won their series against the St. Louis HS Blues 4 games to 3. The High School Cup schedule will be announced after the High School LCS finishes. View Boxscore |
