Voth Torches Bruins for 5 Hits Friday, April 4th , 2064 Jeremy Voth really sizzled at the plate in today's 18-1 win over Bruins. The Modesto HS center fielder blistered Queens HS for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Voth was too tough to get out today," the Bruins skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Jeremy Voth singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, walked in a run in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
