Lecomte Goes Long 3 Times Saturday, April 5th , 2064 The old superstition that "bad news comes in threes" certainly came true for the Nashville HS Predators today. Saskatoon HS third baseman Cédric Lecomte tripled up on the home runs to propel the Moose to the 13-5 win at Moose Park. "We had our chances to win the game, but we just didn't come through," Nashville HS manager said. "Lecomte hit the heck out of the ball." In addition to the homers, Lecomte collected 4 hits in 4 at-bats, 7 RBIs and scored 3 runs. "Easy swings get you home runs," he said after the game. "I kept telling myself not to press. They have to be nice and easy swings." Cédric Lecomte hit a two-run home run off Ray Lawrence in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Ray Lawrence in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Joe Bishop in the 6th and walked in the 8th. Currently Lecomte has 5 home runs and a .283 batting average. |
