Flames Snap Nowak's Streak at 25 Thursday, April 10th , 2064 It was a doubly miserable day today for Terry Nowak of the Kansas City HS Buzzers, as he saw his 25-game hitting streak end and his team lose 3-1 to the Calgary HS Flames at Buzzers Ballpark. The 16-year-old second baseman was held hitless in 4 at-bats by the Flames. "Anyone on a 25-game hitting streak is going to be a tough out," Calgary HS manager said later. "But we had a plan and we were careful about it, and got it done." In this current campaign Nowak is hitting at a .400 clip with 2 home runs and 16 RBIs. |
