They were officially eliminated from contention earlier today. Before this season, the Nordiques had made the playoffs 2 times in a row. In the 36 years they have been a High School League franchise, they have missed the playoffs 23 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Nordiques have missed the playoffs 3 times.
