Wasco HS Devastated by Playoff Elimination Monday, April 28th , 2064 When it comes to a late-season playoff disappointment, the old axiom "wait until next year" isn't overly comforting. "We really thought we would get into the playoffs this year," said Wasco HS War Lords third baseman Simon Arms. "It's really disappointing to come up short." The War Lords have made the playoffs 9 times in their 48 years as a High School League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 8th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2056. In the last 10 seasons, the War Lords have missed the playoffs 7 times. Wasco HS has won the High School Cup 3 times in their history. |
