The Long Beach HS relief specialist was very effective, constantly coming in and getting his club out of trouble or protecting a one-run or two-run lead. the Long Beach HS bullpen ace starred with 1 save in 8 relief appearances, logging 15.1 innings, 24 strikeouts, 12 walks and a 2.93 ERA. Rice finished the month with 4 wins and no losses -- and was named the league's top pitcher. |
