Mulleteers Heading to High School Cup Sunday, May 18th , 2064 The fans in Boston HS are delirious, while there is little joy to be found in Kirbyville HS. The Boston HS Mulleteers finished off the Kirbyville HS Drillers 9-4 in the deciding game of the High School LCS played at Drillers Stadium. They took the series 4-3 and will now head to the High School Cup. For his standout play, Boston HS catcher Jason Derkacz was voted the series' Most Valuable Player. He batted .458, drove in 12 runs and scored 9 to lead his club to victory. "We could never really figure out how to pitch to Derkacz and that doomed us," said Drillers manager . "Hats off to Boston HS, though. That was a great series." The Boston HS Mulleteers will play against the Akron HS Cobras in the next round. Akron HS won their series against the Modesto HS Navigators 4 games to 2. The High School Cup schedule will be announced after the High School LCS finishes. View Boxscore |
