League Punishes Pair for Fighting Friday, April 10th , 2065 David West of the Markesan HS Gaels and Ted Keough of the Montreal HS Loggers will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 3 and 7 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Gaels-Loggers game at Gaels Stadium. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN West and Keough will begin serving them soon. Thus far this season West has hit .263 with 1 home run, 5 RBIs and scored 4 times. For the season his stats show Keough has no saves in 5 relief appearances with a 1-0 record and 2.13 ERA. |
