Fire Ants Come up Short of Playoffs Saturday, April 18th , 2065 Opinions were split on the Phoenix HS Fire Ants this season, with some figuring they were true High School Cup contenders and others thinking they would fade away. The latter group has been proven correct, as the club is now mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. This is the club's 7th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2058. In total, the Fire Ants have missed the playoffs 34 times in their 38-year history.
