Davidov Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Saturday, April 18th , 2065 Aydin Davidov's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 20 games. The Dallas HS first baseman smacked 1 hit against the Houston HS Hornets in today's game at Hornets Park, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Hammerheads drop the game, 7-6. "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly." Aydin Davidov grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. So far this season Davidov has hit .305 with 1 home run, 7 RBIs and scored 20 times. |
