After staying in the hunt until the final days of the season, Sierra Vista Southeast HS has now been officially eliminated from playoff qualification. "We were so close," starting pitcher Cody Meeks said wistfully. This is the club's 14th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2051. In total, the Cedars have missed the playoffs 38 times in their 49-year history. |
