Locomotives Won't Get Playoff Berth Monday, April 20th , 2065 New Orleans HS Locomotives first baseman Sam Krebs said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 2065 postseason contention. The Locomotives have missed the playoffs 37 times in their 49 years as a High School League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2060. In the last 10 seasons, the Locomotives have made the playoffs 3 times. New Orleans HS last won the High School Cup in 2060. |
