Anaheim HS Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Wednesday, April 22nd , 2065 The Anaheim HS Loons will have a "long time to dwell" on this season's failure to get into the postseason, according to starting pitcher Gary Leon. Still in the chase in the season's final days, the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention earlier today. The Loons have missed the playoffs 41 times in their 49 years as a High School League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 7th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2058. In the last 10 seasons, the Loons have missed the playoffs 8 times. Anaheim HS last won the High School Cup in 2047. |
