Bruins Come up Short of Playoffs Thursday, April 23rd , 2065 The mood in the Queens HS Bruins clubhouse was noticeably subdued today, as the club's fate on the season was officially sealed -- they will miss the postseason. "We put ourselves in this position," said Bruins closer Roger Fields. "Nobody to blame but us." This is the club's 12th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2053. In total, the Bruins have missed the playoffs 33 times in their 38-year history. |
