Pioneer League Eastern Division Title Goes to Cobras Friday, April 24th , 2065 Their spot atop the Pioneer League Eastern Division may have been in jeopardy, but it is now confirmed - the Akron HS Cobras are division champions. "It was a tough pennant race and I think it took a lot out of the guys emotionally," said first baseman Tom Kenworthy, after hugging the neck of a jubilant teammate. "I think now is a good time to relax and regroup for a little bit, until we have to start focusing again." The task at hand will now be for the franchise to capture its 2nd High School Cup. This was the 4th division title for the Cobras. |
