No Late-Season Magic Coming: Wasco HS Out of Playoffs Sunday, April 26th , 2065 Wasco HS War Lords third baseman Jesus Alonzo said his team's effort to get into the playoffs fell "heartbreakingly short." But that's the situation they are faced with, as the club was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. The War Lords have missed the playoffs 40 times in their 49 years as a High School League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2056. In the last 10 seasons, the War Lords have made the playoffs 3 times. Wasco HS has won the High School Cup 3 times in their history. |
