Gorham Wins Award for PL Dominance
Wednesday, June 3rd , 2065
Brett Gorham said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 16 years old.

But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Manhattan HS Monarchs rising star has won the Pioneer League Reliever of the Year Award for 2065.

He captured the award on the strength of his 0.51 ERA over 17.2 innings. He also had no saves in 8 relief appearances, 20 strikeouts and only 9 walks.

He received 37 first place votes out of a possible 40. Jon Visser of the Quebec City HS Nordiques finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Kyle Law of the Riverside HS Golden Hawks finished third.
