Kenworthy Chosen 2065 PL Outstanding Hitter Award Saturday, June 6th , 2065 The future looks extremely bright for Tom Kenworthy. At the age of 15, many players are still trying to find their way in High School League. Kenworthy has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Pioneer League Outstanding Hitter Award. "I didn't expect to hit .403 this year, that's for sure," the first baseman said. The Akron HS Cobras star also put up a .463 on-base percentage this year, with 48 hits, 8 doubles, no triples, 12 home runs, 31 RBIs and 25 runs scored. He received 19 first place votes out of a possible 40. Omar Cruz of the Montreal HS Loggers finished second in voting with 19 first place votes, while Mike Carter of the Manhattan HS Monarchs finished third with 1 first place vote.
