James Pops 3 Out of the Park Against Bombers Sunday, March 28th , 2066 The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what George James did today at Quebec City HS Grounds, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 14-11. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," James said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The Quebec City HS Nordiques left fielder blistered the Lackland AFB HS Bombers for 4 hits, batted in 8 runs and scored 3 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," Lackland AFB HS manager said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today." George James flied out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Tom Hendee in the 7th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Tommy Benvenuto in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Matt Herbert in the 9th. A look at his current stats shows James with a .289 average, 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and 10 runs scored. He has played in 10 games. |
