Gaels End McKenzie Streak Tuesday, March 26th , 2069 Miles McKenzie of the Manhattan HS Monarchs came up empty at the plate and went hitless in 3 at-bats for the first time in 26 games. Making matters even worse for the third baseman, Manhattan HS dropped the game to the Markesan HS Gaels, 12-8. "It was not a good day today," McKenzie told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." Looking at his present stats, McKenzie has compiled a .419 batting average in 10 games with a .519 on-base percentage, while hitting 1 home run and driving in 5 runs. |
