Braman Extends Hit Streak to 31 Games Monday, April 15th , 2069 Ed Braman continued his streak at Garrettsville HS Grounds, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Kirbyville HS left fielder was 1-for-4 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 31 games. The Drillers were not as fortunate, losing, 8-7, to the Garrettsville HS River Cats. "Braman was hitting everything we threw at him," said Garrettsville HS manager . "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame and we came away with a win." Ed Braman struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, walked in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. Looking at his present stats, Braman has compiled a .450 batting average in 25 games with a .556 on-base percentage, while hitting 7 home runs and driving in 22 runs. |
