Burke Smacks 5 Hits for Locomotives Thursday, May 12th , 2044 New Orleans HS catcher Jeremiah Burke had a big day at Locomotives Stadium today against the Anaheim HS Loons. The 15-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led the Locomotives to a 16-10 triumph over Anaheim HS. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Burke said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Jeremiah Burke hit a GRAND SLAM off Stan Beck in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
