Tucson HS's Richmond to Miss Season Sunday, May 12th , 2047 Jim Richmond of the Pioneers just might have to call it quits for the season. The 13-year-old Tucson HS reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Gordon HS Spartans recently at Pioneers Stadium. Richmond suffered radial nerve compression while throwing a pitch. The Pioneers medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 6 months. This season Richmond has recorded no saves with a 1-0 record. He's made 5 relief appearances, tossed 5 innings while fanning 2 with a 0.00 ERA. |
