Guerrero Hits in 37 Straight Games Wednesday, April 7th , 2049 Silvino Guerrero ran his hitting streak to 37 straight games today at Locomotives Stadium, when he collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the New Orleans HS Locomotives dropped the game, 10-8, to the Detroit HS Red Wings. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Guerrero said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Silvino Guerrero hit an RBI single in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
