Nicholls Bashes 5 Base Hits Thursday, April 15th , 2049 The Kirbyville HS Drillers tripped up the Kansas City HS Buzzers 21-5 today. The Drillers were led by Ken Nicholls, their 15-year-old shortstop. Nicholls made life miserable for Kansas City HS pitchers all day, tagging them for 5 hits in 7 at-bats. Ken Nicholls grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 8th.
