Saints End Ferrand's Streak Friday, April 28th , 2051 Lady Luck was not on the side of Joao Ferrand or his teammates today at Ballpark of Milwaukee HS. Everything went the way of the Milwaukee HS Saints, who not only came away with the 5-3 victory over Sierra Vista Southeast HS, but also held Ferrand hitless in 4 at-bats to put an end to his 21-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Ferrand said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." Ferrand is currently hitting at a .362 pace with 1 home run, 13 RBIs and has scored 18 times. |
