Houston HS Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Thursday, May 4th , 2051 It's a "gut-wrenching feeling," Houston HS Hornets third baseman António Martínez said, for the team to have gotten so close to a playoff berth, only to be eliminated in the waning days of the season. The club was officially eliminated from the postseason chase today. The Hornets have missed the playoffs 20 times in their 26 years as a High School League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2044. In the last 10 seasons, the Hornets have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
