No Late-Season Magic Coming: New Orleans HS Out of Playoffs Friday, May 5th , 2051 New Orleans HS Locomotives manager called today a "dark day" for his club. The Locomotives were officially eliminated from playoff contention and will shift their focus to next season. "There are probably worse days in the history of the New Orleans HS Locomotives, but right now this feels bad," said. The Locomotives have missed the playoffs 26 times in their 34 years as a High School League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2044. In the last 10 seasons, the Locomotives have missed the playoffs 9 times. New Orleans HS last won the High School Cup in 2034. |
