Dukes Come up Short of Playoffs Thursday, May 2nd , 2052 Coming close doesn't make missing the playoffs easier for the Old Westbury HS Dukes. Club manager said it's a "tough pill to swallow" as the club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. Old Westbury HS last appeared in the postseason in 2049. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 27 times in their 35-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Dukes have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
