The manager of the Pensacola Wahoos said he thinks Eduardo Parra is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 22, but it will be hard to top the right fielder's 2065 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the East Most Valuable Hitter.

His winning campaign featured a .375 batting average and a .458 on-base percentage this year. In 132 games he piled up 214 hits, 24 doubles, 4 triples, 39 home runs, 150 RBIs and 158 runs scored.

He received 18 first place votes out of a possible 20. John Craig of the Pensacola Wahoos finished second in voting, while Jim Johnson of the Bradenton Bucs finished third with 1 first place vote.

The future looks extremely bright for Noe Pena. At the age of 24, many players are still trying to find their way in Liberty League.

Pena has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the West Most Valuable Hitter.

"I didn't expect to hit .398 this year, that's for sure," the first baseman said.

The Tallahassee Bandits star also put up a .511 on-base percentage this year, with 164 hits, 23 doubles, 3 triples, 25 home runs, 97 RBIs and 97 runs scored.

He received 3 first place votes out of a possible 20. Nick Silva of the Tallahassee Bandits finished second in voting with 10 first place votes, while Ed Soto of the Jacksonville Rockies finished third with 4 first place votes.
