Injury Sidelines Matt Lejeune For Year Friday, August 14th , 2065 Matt Lejeune of the Silver Hawks just might have to call it quits for the season. The 21-year-old St. Cloud reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the St. Augustine Suns recently at Silver Hawk Landing. Lejeune suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch. The Silver Hawks medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 10 months. So far this year Lejeune has delivered 10 saves. In 17 relief appearances he has 97 strikeouts in 58.2 innings with a 7.52 ERA and 2 wins and 1 loss. |
