Lauridsen Bashes 3 HR for Orlando

In a powerful performance that left the fans at Jacksonville Field buzzing, Orlando Oceanics first baseman Vetle Lauridsen blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 23-0 win over the Jacksonville Rockies.
"Everything was clicking," Lauridsen told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Lauridsen shined brilliantly in the win, with 4 hits in 7 at-bats, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Oceanics manager said. "Vetle played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Vetle Lauridsen singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Ben Antoline in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jeff Daniels in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Mike Ward in the 9th.
Lauridsen is batting .240 this year with 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has 12 hits in 50 at-bats.
