Dan Barber said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 20 years old.

But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Orlando Oceanics rising star has won the West Reliever of the Year Award for 2065.

He captured the award on the strength of his 3.67 ERA over 83.1 innings. He also had 9 saves in 41 relief appearances, 142 strikeouts and only 62 walks.

He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 20. Warren Mikus of the Orlando Oceanics finished second in voting with 8 first place votes, while Juan Cervera of the Tallahassee Bandits finished third with 2 first place votes.
