Bulldogs Peschisolido Lost for Year Tuesday, April 16th , 2047 The doctors have spoken and Robert Peschisolido of the Punta Gorda Bulldogs didn't like what he heard. The 20-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Peschisolido sustained his season-ending injury during the Gainesville Gators game yesterday at The Swamp. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Punta Gorda medical staff reported Peschisolido had radial nerve compression and would be absent from the lineup for at least 8-9 months. Peschisolido has 1 save this season with a won-lost record of 1-0 and 1.35 ERA. |
