Whitehead Nabs LLW Weekly Award Monday, August 8th , 2050 So far in his young career, Kevin Whitehead has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the West in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old St. Cloud Silver Hawks center fielder hit at a torrid .429 clip as he collected 12 hits in 28 at-bats, 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored. To date Whitehead has chalked up a .245 average with 20 home runs, driven in 59 runs and scored 68 times. |
