Navigators Advance to High School LCS Monday, May 5th , 2064 It took a while, but the Modesto HS Navigators finally disposed of the Sacramento HS Rivercats 7-4 in the series clincher at Ballpark of Modesto HS. Winning the finale gave the Navigators the series, 3-2. They will now advance to the High School LCS. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Modesto HS first baseman Earl Grubbs. He batted .353 in the series, collecting 8 RBIs and scoring 1 runs. The Modesto HS Navigators will play against the Akron HS Cobras in the next round. Akron HS won their series against the Tucson HS Pioneers 3 games to 0. The High School LCS schedule will be announced after the High School Wildcard Series finishes. View Boxscore |
