LLE's Best Player for 2043 Named Tuesday, October 20th , 2043 The manager of the Gainesville Gators said he thinks Rusty Banks is only going to get better as he gets older. He may only be 22, but it will be hard to top the first baseman's 2043 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the East Most Valuable Hitter. His winning campaign featured a .364 batting average and a .467 on-base percentage this year. In 134 games he piled up 180 hits, 32 doubles, 3 triples, 32 home runs, 131 RBIs and 95 runs scored. He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 20.
